Ingredients
1 sachet (60g) Cinnamon Donut Meal Replacement Shake by Feel Good Protein
1 egg
2 tbsp almond meal (or gluten-free oat flour for a softer texture)
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp cottage cheese
2 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (adjust for batter consistency)
Dash of cinnamon or vanilla essence (optional)
Spray oil for the waffle maker
Optional additional toppings:
A dollop of Greek Yoghurt
A drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup
A light spread of almond butter
Or honestly, nothing at all – they’re that good on their own!
Method
1. Preheat your waffle maker.
2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, cottage cheese, and almond milk until smooth.
3. Add in the Cinnamon Donut Meal Replacement Shake powder, almond meal, baking powder, and any extras.
4. Mix into a thick batter. If it’s too stiff, add a splash more almond milk until it’s just pourable.
5. Spray your waffle maker with oil and pour in the batter.
6. Cook for 3–5 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
7. Let them cool slightly to firm up as they rest.
8. Top with your desired toppings and enjoy!
