They’re creamy, chocolatey, fruity and honestly taste like something you’d order at a café, but they’re high in protein, portion-friendly and gentle on the tummy. Perfect for post-op bariatric eating, smaller appetites, or anyone trying to enjoy dessert while supporting their weight loss goals.
This is the kind of recipe that works for meal prep, weekend treats or those moments when you just want something sweet without overthinking it. With a chocolate coconut base, silky protein custard and a light raspberry jelly topping, it’s an easy layered dessert that feels a little bit fancy but is super simple to make.
Ingredients
- 3 scoops Tasteless Protein Collagen by Feel Good Protein
- 20g Protein Jelly by Feel Good Protein (Wild Raspberry)
- 1 ½ scoops Rich Chocolate Coconut Slice by Get Ya Yum On
- 1 packet Aeroplane Lite Creamy Custard Mix
- 375ml Lite milk
- 230ml boiling water
- 1 tbsp coconut oil

Method
- Pour the milk into a microwave-safe jug or bowl. Add the protein powder and whisk until completely smooth and lump-free.
- Add the custard mix to the protein milk and stir well until fully dissolved.
- Microwave the custard mixture on high for 2 minutes. Remove and stir for 30 seconds until the custard has thickened and is smooth. Set aside to cool.
- In a separate microwave-safe jug, add the jelly powder and boiling water. Stir well until the powder is completely dissolved. Set aside but do not refrigerate yet.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate coconut slice premix and coconut oil. Mix until well combined. If the mixture seems too dry, add a small splash of water and mix again until it holds together.
- Press the coconut mixture evenly into the base of your serving dish or individual cups. Pour the custard mixture over the base, filling about halfway. Refrigerate for 30 minutes, or until the custard has just set
- Once the custard is set and the jelly has cooled to room temperature, gently pour the jelly over the custard layer.
- Return to the fridge for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until fully set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and fresh raspberries. Enjoy your Protein Custard Jelly Cups!
