Imagine a brownie that’s fudgy, rich, deeply chocolatey, but with a smooth hazelnut coffee flavour. These Hazelnut Coffee Protein Brownies will be your go-to treat for that extra protein and caffeine kick! Perfect for taking on the go or even warmed up at home for that after-dinner sweet treat.

Ingredients

2 tsp Flavoured Instant Coffee by Feel Good Coffee (Hazelnut)
3 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
2 eggs
1 cup almond meal
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/3 cup granulated sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: 2 tbsp crushed roasted hazelnuts to sprinkle on top

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C fan forced. Line or grease a small baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sweetener, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and the dissolved Flavoured Instant Coffee until smooth.
  3. Add the almond meal, cocoa powder, Tasteless Protein, and salt. Stir until just combined, don’t overmix.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
  5. Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts if using.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes for a fudgy centre, or 16–18 minutes if you want them firmer.
  7. Allow to cool completely before slicing into small squares. Enjoy your hazelnut coffee protein brownies!
