Imagine a brownie that’s fudgy, rich, deeply chocolatey, but with a smooth hazelnut coffee flavour. These Hazelnut Coffee Protein Brownies will be your go-to treat for that extra protein and caffeine kick! Perfect for taking on the go or even warmed up at home for that after-dinner sweet treat.
Ingredients
2 tsp Flavoured Instant Coffee by Feel Good Coffee (Hazelnut)
3 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
2 eggs
1 cup almond meal
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/3 cup granulated sweetener
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: 2 tbsp crushed roasted hazelnuts to sprinkle on top
Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C fan forced. Line or grease a small baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sweetener, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and the dissolved Flavoured Instant Coffee until smooth.
- Add the almond meal, cocoa powder, Tasteless Protein, and salt. Stir until just combined, don’t overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared tin and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle with crushed hazelnuts if using.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes for a fudgy centre, or 16–18 minutes if you want them firmer.
- Allow to cool completely before slicing into small squares. Enjoy your hazelnut coffee protein brownies!
