If you’re looking for an easy, delicious and high-in-protein dessert, our Pear and Ginger Wonton Bites may just fit the bill! Crisp on the outside and fruity on the inside, these bite sized wontons are such a hit for kids and grown-ups alike. For optimal enjoyment, we recommend to have these served with yoghurt and fresh fruits.
Note: If gingers aren’t your thing, feel free to leave them out. Not to worry, it will just be as enjoyable.
Ingredients
16 Wonton Wrappers
4 scoops of Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
10 pear segments in natural juice
10 grams uncrystallised ginger
1 tablespoon apple puree
1 teaspoon Sugar Free Maple Syrup
Olive Oil Spray
Water in a bowl for sticking the Wonton Wrapper
Method
Pre-heat air fryer to 210 degrees for 10 minutes.
Mix together the Tasteless Protein, pear pieces, apple puree, sugar free maple syrup and ginger in a bowl.
Then use spoon to lightly break up the pear segments as you mix. Spoon mixture onto wonton.
Next, brush the edges of the wonton with water and fold over to create a triangle. Seal by pressing the edges together.
Spray wontons with olive oil or brush with egg wash (We prefer olive oil). Cook in air fryer for 12 minutes on 210 degrees or until the wontons are cooked to your taste.
Once out of the air fryer, immediately serve the Pear and Ginger Wonton Bites. Happy eating!
