Our donation to TLC for Kids

TLC for Kids is a leading Australian children’s charity that helps sick kids, and their families cope with the challenges of everyday life with illness.  Their dedication to helping families in need and providing services that can help aid unwell children is one of the many reasons Cost Price Supplements has decided to donate to this charity. 

TLC for Kids supports sick children and their families in many ways including: 

• Rapid TLC Program – the fastest referral system of its kind in Australia. It offers free emotional and practical support for sick children in need, and their families.  All requests are actioned within 24 – 48 hours. 
• Distraction Box Program – designed to give nurses and healthcare professionals the perfect tools to guide young children through painful examinations and procedures. 
• TLC Ambulance – delivers special moments to sick children in palliative care, transporting them to their most treasured places to experience that joy one last time. 

Christopher Luong, Cost Price Supplements founder, has a keen interest in Lego and has decided to donate $3000 worth of Lego to TLC for Kids, to help support their programs. We hope this Lego can bring joy and many hours of fun-filled happiness. 

Alongside the Lego, on behalf of Cost Price Supplements, we have donated a further $10,000 to go towards TLC for Kids programs, including the Rapid TLC Program. This program specifically ensures rapid turnaround times for ANY child, with ANY condition in need. We are so grateful to feel a part of a program that supports children who may not qualify for other support services. We believe it’s very important to support the wider community with any help that they need.

A special message to our beloved community . You are the reason we have been able to raise $10,000 to donate to TLC for Kids charity . All your purchases over the past several months have been quietly used to save for this donation plus an extra $3000 worth of Lego!

𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

The TLC Ambulance is one many services offered by TLC for Kids it’s a real ambulance repurposed to carefully transport children in palliative care during their final moments to their most treasured places. The whole experience is captured on film to create a lasting memory for the family.
 
I can think of no greater gift than being able to remember the ones we’ve lost in life by keeping them alive in our memories.

Another important service offered is the Rapid TLC service 🥰 it responds within 48hrs to families who have children suffering from an illness who need urgent help. This service ranges from providing financial support to help a single mother struggling to pay their children’s medical bill to a 10-year-old boy 👦 suffering from a brain tumour who simply would like to escape in his imagination playing with Lego 🧸 to much more.
