Let’s dive into making this delicious and nutritious syrup.
Ingredients
1 cup water
2 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup Truvia Caster Sugar for baking
2 teaspoons cornflour
Pinch of salt (optional – we did not use this but sometimes do)
Method
1. Place a small saucepan over medium heat and combine water, cornflour and Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein.
2. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stirring continually to prevent sticking.
3. Once simmering, add vanilla extract and continue to stir until all the ingredients are fully combined.
3. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for another 5 – 7 minutes, allowing it to thicken to a syrupy consistency. Keep an eye on it and stir occasionally to prevent burning.
4. Once it reaches your desired thickness, remove it from the heat and let it cool slightly.
5. Transfer the syrup to a glass jar or container for storage. Allow it to cool completely before sealing it tightly with a lid.
6. Drizzle this multi-use Vanilla Protein Syrup over your pancakes, waffles, yogurt, or even mixed into your morning coffee. This syrup adds a delightful sweetness with a protein punch!
