This Viral Dumpling Bake is a layered, steamed dumpling dish that is perfect for anyone wanting a comforting, protein-packed meal without compromising on flavour. It’s ideal for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or when you’re craving takeaway vibes with a smarter, high-protein twist.
Ingredients
2 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
250g chicken mince
3 green onions, finely sliced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tbsp garlic, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp All Natural Flavoured Gravy by Mingle (Mushroom Umami)
½ tsp pink pepper
16 wonton wrappers
80ml water (for steaming)
1 tbsp chilli oil, to serve
Extra green onions, to garnish
1 tsp All Natural Seasoning by Mingle (Everything Bagel)
Method
- In a large bowl, combine the chicken mince and Tasteless Protein. Mix well until combined.
- Add the green onions, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, rice wine, Mingle gravy and pink pepper. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
- Lightly dip each wonton wrapper in water, then arrange a layer on the base of your dish, slightly overlapping each piece. Spread a thin, even layer of the mince mixture over the wrappers.
- Repeat the layers of wonton wrappers and mince mixture until all the filling is used, finishing with a final layer of wonton wrappers on top.
- Carefully pour 80ml of water around the edges of the dish to help create steam.
- Place the dish into a steamer or into a large pot fitted with a steaming rack over simmering water. Steam for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the mince is cooked through.
- Remove carefully, drizzle with chilli oil, sprinkle with Mingle’s Everything Bagel seasoning, garnish with extra green onions, and serve immediately. Enjoy your Viral Dumpling Bake!
