This Apple Blueberry Protein Crumble recipe is one of the quickest and most delicious desserts that we do on rotation in our house. Great if you want something mid-week but are time poor or if you just want something that you can pull together at the last minute that will become a family favourite!
Ingredients
Base
2 x Green Apples
2 x 375 gram jars of Apple Puree
1.5 cups frozen blueberries
1/2 cup sugar free maple syrup
4 scoops Tasteless Protein Powder by Feel Good Protein
Crumble
1.5 cups Rolled Oats
1.5 cup Almond Flour
¾ cup Brown Sugar Alternative
2 scoops Tasteless Protein Powder
80 grams Butter
80 grams Coconut Oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Method
Prepare a pie dish by spraying it with non stick cooking spray.
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Into the pie dish place the apple puree and blueberries.
In a jug mix maple syrup, cinnamon and Tasteless Protein Powder and pour over the top of the apple puree and blueberries.
Prepare the crumble topping by adding the Rolled Oats, Almond flour and Brown Sugar (or Brown Sugar alternative) to a bowl and mix well.
Over the top of the dry ingredients pour the melted butter and coconut oil and mix together.
Spoon mixture over the top of the apple and blueberries.
Bake in the oven for approximately 45 minutes.
Serve with your favourite yoghurt or ice cream and enjoy your dessert!
