These Crispy Rice Paper Parcels are a mouth-watering high protein take inspired by the viral TikTok recipe.
Wrapped in a golden, crispy rice paper and filled with a mixture of aromatic chicken and vegetables, this recipe is gluten and dairy free, easy to portion, and perfect for bariatric lifestyles, busy cooks, and those who prefer smaller, protein-focused meals.
Ingredients
- 2 scoops Tasteless Protein Collagen by Feel Good Protein
- 200g chicken mince
- 1/2 cup wombok
- 2 tbsp spring onion
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tbsp gluten free soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper
- 16 rice paper sheets (2 per parcel)
- 1 tbsp coconut oil

Method
- Finely chop the wombok, spring onion and parsley, then add them to a large mixing bowl.
- Add the chicken mince, protein powder, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the bowl and stir until the mixture is combined.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly spray with oil.
- Add the garlic, ginger, and chicken mince to the pan and cook, breaking it up, until browned and the liquid has evaporated.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and remove from heat to allow the mixture to cool slightly.
- To create each parcel, submerge one rice paper sheet in warm water until softened, then remove from water and lay flat.
- Spoon a portion of filling into the centre of the rice paper, fold in the sides, then roll tightly to seal.
- Dip a second sheet in the warm water and wrap it around the parcel then set aside.
- Repeat until you have made 8 parcels.
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a small amount of coconut oil.
- Place parcels seam side down first. Cook, turning gently, until all sides are golden and crispy.
- Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy your Crispy Rice Paper Parcels!
