Chocolate Berry Protein Slice made with Tasteless Protein

For chocolate lovers, a good old’ chocolate slice can be one of those guilty pleasures!

This recipe is less about guilt, and more about those comfortable flavours and tastes that we love. The best thing yet is that this Chocolate Berry Slice recipe has excellent macros.

This slice is fantastic for work or school lunches and is a brilliant snack to have on hand.

Ingredients

80g Nuttelex butter, melted
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
4 Weetbix, crushed, 45 grams
½ Cup finely Desiccated Coconut
4 scoops of Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
1 Cup Almond Flour
½ cup Water (add a 1/4 at a time)
½ Cup Monk Fruit Sweetener
¼ Cup Cocoa, 25 grams
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
½ cup of Dried Berries (optional and from the health food store)

Method

Mix together all of the dry ingredients except for the freeze dried strawberries and the vanilla extract.

Pour melted Nuttelex and water over the top of the combined ingredients.

Reserve 1/4 cup of water incase you need to add additional water.

Mix together until everything is well combined.

Press your mixture into a lined slice pan.

Bake in a 180 and bake for 20 minutes.

Top with melted dark chocolate and a few freeze dried berry pieces if desired.
