Our Creamy Chicken Soup is the perfect mix of easy, wholesome and satisfying. It’s that hearty, comforting bowl of classic goodness, but with a healthy twist. We added yoghurt and Tasteless Protein to help elevate the taste and nutrition value – so creamy yet light in texture and rich in protein. It’s a dish that will make your taste buds, body and family very happy!
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and cut into bite sized pieces. (Or time saving hack: purchase a pre-cooked chicken and shred the breast meat)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cm of Ginger
2 cloves garlic minced
4 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
2 carrots, diced
2 celery stalks, diced
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup plain yoghurt
Salt and pepper to taste
Mingle All Purpose Seasoning
Fresh parsley and basil, chopped (for garnish)
Pimp My Salad Cashew Parm Cheez (optional)
Method
1. Starts off with a large pot. Heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until they become translucent.
2. Next, add the diced carrots and celery to the pot and cook for a few minutes until they start to soften.
3. Then, pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10 minutes then turn off the heat.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the plain yogurt and Tasteless Protein by Feel Good until well combined.
5. Slowly add the yogurt mixture to the pot, stirring constantly to prevent the soup from curdling.
6. Next, add the chicken to the soup.
7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
8. Serve the creamy chicken soup hot, garnished with fresh basil, parsley and a drizzle of good olive oil (Optional). Enjoy your creamy chicken soup with the added benefits of yogurt and Tasteless Protein by Feel Good!
