This is a new take on an old classic and is totally delicious. Great for a weekend breakfast, and with the new high protein, lower carb bread options that are now available , the classic French toast has been given brand new life.
Two slices of High Protein Bread
2 scoops Tasteless Protein
¼ cup milk
¼ cup Monk Fruit Sweetener
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ cup frozen Raspberries
¼ cup frozen Blueberries
Spreadable Cream Cheese
In a bowl combine and whisk the eggs, milk and Tasteless Protein powder with one teaspoon of monk fruit sweetener.
In a dish combine Monk fruit sweetener and cinnamon.
Remove crusts from bread and roll bread out with a rolling pin.
Thoroughly spread each piece of bread with spreadable cream cheese.
Top each slice of bread on one end with a row of raspberries and blueberries.
Roll the bread up as demonstrated.
Dunk the bread into the egg mixture .
Place the rolls into the dish with the Monk fruit and Cinnamon mixture and coat the outside of each roll.
Place the rolls on to a pre-heated sandwich press or in a non-stick frypan until golden on the outside.
Serve with berries and enjoy!
