Ingredients
500g lean beef mince
12 mini stand & stuff soft shell tortilla boats
½ finely chopped red onion
½ cup grated cheese
½ cup grated carrot
⅓ diced cucumber
Handful diced cherry tomatoes
Shredded lettuce
3 scoops Tasteless Protein by Feel Good Protein
20g American BBQ Low & Slow Smokin’ Texas Seasoning
½ cup water (divided)
Capilano Hot Chilli Honey, to drizzle
Method
- In a non-stick pan over medium heat, add the chopped onion with ¼ cup of water. Simmer until the onion softens and becomes translucent (around 3 minutes). Push the onion to one side of the pan.
- Add the beef mince directly into the pan and break it up with a spatula. Cook until browned through. Once cooked, mix the onion back in.
- Sprinkle in the BBQ seasoning and Tasteless Protein. Pour over the remaining ¼ cup of water and stir through until the mince is fully cooked. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to absorb all the flavour.
- Layer each soft-shell boat with shredded lettuce, the hot beef mix, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, carrot, and cheese.
- Drizzle with Capilano Hot Chilli Honey and serve while hot. Enjoy your Hot Honey Taco Boats!
