Method
Filling
Cook onion and garlic together until softened then set aside to cool.
Mix all other ingredients together in a large bowl making sure to incorporate everything nicely into the minced meat.
Add in the onions and the garlic to this mixture and set to the side while preparing the pastry.
Pastry
In a large bowl place the Tasteless Protein, Almond Flour, Xanthan Gum and mix until these ingredients are well combined.
In a medium sized saucepan melt together your Mozzarella and butter.
(you can also easily do this in a bowl in the microwave)
Once these ingredients are melted add them to the bowl with the dry pastry ingredients.
Mix together as best as you can.
Once the mixture has come together in your bowl you can put the dough between two pieces of grease proof paper and roll it out until it is nice and thin and ready to be used like pastry for your sausage rolls.
Cut pastry into strips and then fill with your filling.
Roll the sausage roll up gently, pressing the edges together and then cut into whatever size pieces you would like.
Cook in a 160 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Your Sausage Rolls will be done when they are gorgeous and golden brown.
Serve with your favourite condiments and enjoy them!
