The combination of crispy bacon, melted cheese, and the savoury barbecue seasoning create a delicious bite-sized snack that you’ll want to make on repeat.
Ingredients
- 3 scoops Tasteless Whey by Feel Good Protein
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 6 eggs
- 400g shortcut bacon
- 1 red onion
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 200g low fat cottage cheese
- ½ tsp parsley flakes
- 1 tbsp Backyard Barbecue Seasoning by Mingle

Method
- Preheat oven to 170°C and lightly grease a 12-hole muffin tray with non-stick spray.
- Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until golden and crispy. Remove from the heat and set aside.
- To the same pan, add the diced onion and cook until soft, then remove from heat and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
- Add the tasteless whey protein, cottage cheese, cooked bacon, diced onion, barbecue seasoning, parsley flakes, and ¾ cup of the shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.
- Press each wonton wrapper into a muffin hole to create a cup.
- Evenly divide the mixture between the wonton cups and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of each bite.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden on top.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy your Bacon and Onion Protein Bites!
