Bacon & Onion Protein Bites

The combination of crispy bacon, melted cheese, and the savoury barbecue seasoning create a delicious bite-sized snack that you’ll want to make on repeat. 

Ingredients

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C and lightly grease a 12-hole muffin tray with non-stick spray.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until golden and crispy. Remove from the heat and set aside.
  3. To the same pan, add the diced onion and cook until soft, then remove from heat and set aside.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
  5. Add the tasteless whey protein, cottage cheese, cooked bacon, diced onion, barbecue seasoning, parsley flakes, and ¾ cup of the shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.
  6. Press each wonton wrapper into a muffin hole to create a cup.
  7. Evenly divide the mixture between the wonton cups and sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top of each bite.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden on top.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving and enjoy your Bacon and Onion Protein Bites!
